It's boating season on the East Coast!  Keep in mind when you're on the water that there are certain things mermaids simply won't tolerate:  boats with obnoxiously loud  motors, reckless sailors, drunk boaters, litterers and people who do harm to the marine environment and its creatures (this doesn't include fishermen as mermaids enjoy fish as well).  When a mermaid observes any of this in her realm, you don't get a ticket, you get a visit from her not so friendly sea monster.
