My husband does a lot of wood working and often works with rare woods. He sometimes has little scraps leftover. So he and I decided to make something with these scraps of purple heart wood. I designed these, he cut them out and then I embellished them. The one in the middle has brass pieces imbedded in it and also a piece of lighter wood imbedded in it. The left one has beads and wire and the one on the right is just a basic, simple design (which I love. it's the one I wear most often).
