Toys - they are a big part of our life. There are toys we loved, toys we hated and toys we thought were dull and stupid. There are grown-up toys, kid's toys, toys left on the stairs that we trip over, and toys left in the middle of the floor that we step on which leads to broken toys. There are toys that never seem to be put away, toys we give away and toys we will always keep. This show is, in case you haven't figured it out, about toys. We want to know about the toys that mean something to you. It can be a favorite from childhood, the toy you always wanted but never got or one that is currently a part of your life. How you choose to portray your toy(s) is up to you.
A statement detailing the materials, process, and what made you choose your subject is required. It increases understanding of your work and significantly enhances the experience for the viewer. As texture or other small elements may be pivotal to the piece, detail shots are encouraged. All points of the prospectus should be met. If you have any questions regarding the prospectus and its requirements, please send them to edu@ebsqart.com.
