I created this piece specifically for the EBSQ Plus show, "The Abyss". I think the ocean... the sea... the "abyss" is one of the most mysterious places on the planet. It is like having an alien nation right here on Earth - truly a whole different world within a world. With the advent of SCUBA diving, humans were finally able to explore the mysteries of the deep. It is a never-ending journey of discovery, learning, and exploration. Without SCUBA, the "abyss" would remain one of the world's greatest mysteries.
