Cubist pop art in bold, bright colors. This work is second in a series of self-portraits that I call my "Tired Artist" series. The stress related to being an eBay artist can be pretty tough sometimes. The competition is fierce, and you never know how much money you will make every month. You always have to come up with new ways to sell yourself. The nudity in this work is simply symbolic of the vulnerability one feels when stressed, while the "lightening bolts" convey that alarming feeling that your head might explode under such tension... So I paint away my stress, and this is the result.
