This self-portrait represents two parts of my personality. One is quietly longing for something and the other is more assertive, yet pushing away whatever is approaching. This was acheived through darkroom experimentation and inspired by artist Jacinda Russell (my former teacher and friend). I photographed (using a cable), developed and printed this work myself.
