I had a dream that left me with a lot of visually rich concepts and these paintings are part of a series I am calling “Rich Orphans and Street Performers”. The pieces are small and intimate; they require the viewer to get close to soak in the details. This is the self portrait, clowned up with paper dolls. She carries an expression I frequently have on. The painting is humorously ridiculous and so am I.
