Art: UNTITLED by Artist Cleo Calderon
Legs drawn and hands clasped to draw in the hunger eyes downcast cut silent patterns across the floor while all things beat their chest and rage in a delirious orbit. she lights the world with the strength of thousands The tender thoughts of childhood past mix with memories and fragmentary revelations the waxing and waning of existence is a constant reminder a furtive form of chaos, a cavern built around radiance. Longing to stand and push back the face in the clouds to walk with authority and know peace she dreams of this waking moment, this distance gathering the power of casual collisions. And when caught drowning rise to breathe sweet air her strength lies in the acceptance of change mocking vulnerability by embracing the dancing souls that move through and feed on her brilliance.
