Klimt is best known for his use of realistic female figures upon flat two dimensional backgrounds laden with a mosaic of decorative shapes.
I've long admired this juxtaposition of style and form and have tried to honor him with my latest painting.
Garden Walk was a load of fun to do. I'm highly attracted to 'shiny' things and included a lot of pearlescent powders into the backgrounds and the bugs on the woman's dress.
