What do you see when you look out the window? No, not that one. Not the one with the lovely view of the garden and pond. The other ones. The one with the view of the back corner of the yard or the bit of fence with the a/c unit sitting in front of it. The window that offers a view of the blank side of the neighboring building or looks directly into the apartment across the alley. And don't forget about the ones in the attic and the basement and the sights lurk beyond their dirt smeared panes. Go, look out these windows that provide views of the world that one would not typically think of as art worthy and make them so. Let everyone see what you see when you look out the windows that frame an odd or less than picturesque view of your world. Be sure to include part or all of the window in your work to frame it and give the full effect.

A statement detailing the materials, process, and what made you choose this window is required. It increases understanding of your work and significantly enhances the experience for the viewer. Also, we ask that you include a photograph of the window itself, framing the view you've chosen. As texture or other small elements may be pivotal to the reason for entry, detail shots are encouraged. All points of the prospectus should be met. If you have any questions regarding the prospectus and its requirements, please send them to
