Robots have long fascinated us. Itís a fascination that intensified over the course of the 20th century. Literature gave Isaac Asimovís I, Robot, Ray Bradburyís Fahrenheit 451 and Ira Levinís The Stepford Wives. Robby the Robot, Rosie from the Jetsons, K-9 from Doctor Who and R2-D2 are just few of the robots found in film and television. Robots are a fixture in popular culture. Hondaís ASIMO extends the promise that one day personal robots will be a fixture in our homes. Until that time comes, we will have to make do with our Roombas and our imaginations.

Robots is not a media specific show. Anything goes, from paintings to working robots.

We strongly recommend all artists include a statement with each entry, as statements can enhance the experience for the online viewer. If the relevance of an entry to the show's theme is not readily apparent, we will request that the artist supply a short statement of explanation. We also encourage you to include detail shots of your entries. This will allow the viewer to full appreciate your work as small details can be lost in an online environment.

Eligible entries must meet all points of the prospectus. If you have any questions regarding the prospectus and its requirements, please send them to
