Blue Moon Mama is a RIP for the EBSQ 2006 Ripped Off Show. It is primarily inspired by Theresa and by some of the flowers in other pieces. I was really drawn to the eyes in Tiffany Y. Matthews' paintings and the long faces. They remind me of a similar series of work I did in the 1980's.

This piece is all fabric collage using applique' and quilting techniques. It is embellished with buttons, trim, beads and handmade yarn.
