This is my entry into the "2006 ripped off show"...I ripped Lisa T. Whittaker's "venice"... a beautiful, peaceful impressionist piece. Of course my version includes a cat...as the gondolier! His name is Caesar and he's a well traveled, world savvy cat that likes to try on different hats wherever he goes to get a real feel of the place! I created this piece on an 8x10 stretched canvas in acrylics and varnish.
