Here is my rip of Cynthia Gaub's "The Girls With the Curious Hair" for the Ripped Off Show 2006. As soon as I looked at Cynthia's portfolio I knew I wanted to do this painting! Her original is so much fun.

I decided to swap the hair color and the background in my version, making the hair look like tree branches. I love the little bird. He just seems to be saying, "I'm here and I ain't leavin'!"
