Art: Clown by Artist Sharon Lemay
Bingo the Clown

I made a sad Clown drawing card for my Mom when I was 5 years old because she was sick. I wanted to show her I loved her and was sad she wasn't feeling well. When I was 8 years old I bought my first canvas and painted the same image over again.

When I was 12 or13 my best friend took a photograph of me with the same painting and she told me maybe one day ,you will grow up and be an artist..

Now I am in my mid 40's and I am creating a acrylic collage of mixed media with the photograph. Happily something never change . I will always love Art and always love my Mom!

I made a copy of the photograph. Used a pair of scissors to make a cut out from the photograph. Sticky glued the cut out, on to canvas, Hand painted the clown on the left hand side with acrylic paint , This time I painted a happy face clown. Then with bingo ink made all the circle balloon shapes. Designed a sparkly frame with silver glitter glue and added red sparkles.

P.S.

I love art, It makes me feel young at heart !
