In most of my still life work, I try and capture the shadow and light that's cast on an object. I don't paint silver very often...but being such a beautiful, reflective surface...I thought it would be a perfect subject for the show. Since I enjoy painting fruit and food still lifes...combining the two provided just the right impression I was looking for.
