"The Great Oak Tree" Is located in the Great Oak Park, East Brunswick, N.J. I live across the street and see this beautiful tree every day. In March of 2003, I took a walk with my camera in hand, and took a reference photo. What a beautiful site! I ran back to my house and grabbed my paints, brushes, canvas, and a heavy coat. I sketched out the tree and the cardinals. And painted what I could outside, until I started to freeze and ran into the house to finish the painting. I hope you enjoy seeing a wonderful site! I know I did.
