This is my entry for the June Plein air show... The first day I painted this I spent about 45minutes doing a quick sketch and then quickly giving the canvas a once over.. It was hot out... so I was painting fast. The second day, I went over and gave some dimensions and worked for about an hour on this, it was hot out. The third day I took this out.. and just worked on my trouble spots and didn't some finishing touches and a little extra embelishments to help with the composition and colors.. Had a good time painting in this fashion.. a real challenge.. just wish it had been cooler outside! :).. Now.. did I say it was hot out?! :)
