Dawn's dog, Max: a portrait! Max's coat is a thin veneer of bronze, dusted through fabric to give it some texture (not having a handy pet pelt to dust through, hessian had to do), fused into the glass. The background is metal-stained glass, iron for red and copper for blue/green, similarly applied, fused with transparent enamel. Max's white coat is clear glass, made white and given depth by firing on a bed of roughly-levelled talc.
