I am honored to swap pet portraits with Tracey Allyn Greene again this year. This is a painting of a kitty that Tracey rescued when he was dumped at the vet's office where she works. She named him "Chaim" which means "Life" in Hebrew. A very appropriate name for a second chance cat. Here I have placed Chaim on a booklet (since the name "Chaim" was also inspired by author Chaim Potok) and spelled out his name in the Hebrew alphabet, in Russian, in Dutch, in German, in French, in Spanish...however you say it or write it, this fine pewter-colored cat with the unusual kinked tail epitomizes his name; L'Chaim, to Life! I wish him a very long life with Tracey and Bil and their whole furry family.
