Entry for the 2009 Pet Portrait Swap. This is Chinbunny's cat, Sassy. My immediate thought upon seeing the reference photos was, "This cat thinks she's queen." Well, maybe not "thinks"...she knows she's royalty! I've tried to capture Sassy's regalness that comes through her eyes, but there's also a bit of toughness that comes through them too. She's a gorgeous girl and I enjoyed painting her.
