I always wondered about the 'wicked' witch of the west, I mean, I just couldn't see her as the villian -- outta no where, some punk kid drops a freakin' House on her sister, and STEALS THE DEAD WOMAN'S SHOES.. and yet, she's the bad guy... My witch is 16 inches high, made from black fleece and appliqued, embroidered and padded wool felt. All hand-sewn, hand-made, she's bewildered and sad. Her 'broom' is made from a chopstick and spanish moss. This is my entry for the February NFAC contest, this month's theme is "Wizard of Oz" search NFAC to find more great art, promotionally priced with no reserve.
