In
the 8th
chapter in the book the Wizard Of Oz Dorthy was poisoned by a field
of poppies. In my version my Dorthy is but only a young child and she
is lulled to sleep by a poison iris. We carried the sleeping girl to
a pretty spot beside the river, far enough from the iris field to
prevent her breathing any more of the poison of the flowers, and here
we laid her gently on the soft grass and waited for the fresh breeze
to waken her.By commenting, you agree to our Community Guidelines.
