Several months ago I began to get broody again and painted this lady, who I named Dolly Daydream. This painting features the lady who longs to hold a baby in her arms. She cradles her dolly in her arms, for a split second she feels comfort and happiness then reality takes over, will she ever have a child of her own. The people in the background are the "old wives tales!" always ready give out superstitious advice on how to conceive.
