I actually thought I wouldn’t make this show, because I couldn’t come up with any ideas for it. I was cleaning up my studio and came upon some tambourines, which I had used for a past show. Well, as fate would have it Bob Seger came on the radio, and that’s where this painting came from. ;-) The face is actually painted on the underside of a real tambourine.
