My creative process on this piece consisted of choosing three artist canvas pieces and laying them on the ground. I then picked the theme of the piece, or it picked me.

The Sun was baking my skin as I began to imagine what it must look like up close, sort of like a volcano. So that is what I did, threw molten paint onto the ground in the direction of the canvas. This was the result in Acrylic paint.

As a boy I used to notice how the Sun hitting my face had the ability to change me in terms of biology. It changed my state of mind my mood. I knew this on some level but could not define it as I can today.

Art has the same ability to transform me, it allows me to trancend the usual for the sublime!
