“Terra Cotta' From a series of photos to choose from... I chose this one for its raw natural pose of the nervousness of having your picture taken nude; as he picks at an old almost invisible scab. This being my first "serious" nude drawing, I felt it necessary to keep it as tasteful as possible; not to flaunt the body in a lustful way. I leave my subject's face anonymous in the shadows, as my primary focus was muscle definition and the detail in his nervous hands.
