Story behind the painting:

Alythrae is the daughter of a high ranking family. She was gifted the three griffins on her fifth birthday and they've been inseparable since--much to the displeasure of her family. Instead of entertaining suitors, she spends her time upon the cliffs dreaming of what lies on the other side of the great waters.
