Photographing bugs is one of my favorite subjects. They're not vain, have no opinion as to how their picture comes out and are great subjects/models to photograph. This praying mantis actually stayed in the same position for about 15 minutes for his picture to be taken. I love the close up of the face. This picture was taken with a Canon Rebel Digital EOS.
