- Blackcap Chickadee and First Snowfall
The little Chickadee is perched on a snow-covered evergreen branch just after the first snowfall. The first snowfall of the year always seems so magical in spite of the challenges to commuters and the rush of everyday life. This art was painted using professional grade pastels on acid-free illustration board coated with gesso mixed with fine pumice for a nice rich texture. This original art is now available at my Etsy store as well as giclee prints.
