This painting is a Watercolor on canvas which required no drawing skills.
It started out as a "wipe out".
The canvas was covered completely with a heavy wash of the desired colors.
With crumpled tissues I wiped back the shape of the vase as well as the shapes of the flowers.
Later I worked on the flowers and the background - then added the Lemons as an afterthought to balance out the painting and the colors.
