What triggered me to create this piece is a simple quote I read somewhere from an unknown source. All these thoughts and feelings soon came into play during the process. A new lifecycle begins from death, nature taking its natural course. The buried decaying bodies become an ecosystem of their own creating a temporary habitat for these insects. This scenerio happens to be a godsend for forensic scientists and investigators. The flowers on the top simply represent life continuing after death.
