As this show is about Fractured Fairytales I was racking my brain as to which subject I should use. This is how I solved it:

"Little Red Riding Hood goes on a slight D-tour and meets up with Goldilocks and the Three Bears to have a Teddybear's picnic, using the goodies she is supposed to take to her ill grandma". We don't really know what happened after that... whether she still met the wolf further along her path after continuing her journey through the forest...

I must say I am not really used to working in this illustrative & slighty old-fashioned style, but I have reverted back to some of my own childhood ideas for inspiration, when I spent many years drawing and painting fairytales, so I found myself painting this picture in a "child-like" manner, but enjoying the challenge, and I found it quite fun to do. (I just wish I could have had a little more time to spend on it!) It is very different from my usual work that I normally produce. This is purely a fantasy painting which comes straight from my head (no models used).
