There was a beautiful purple viney flower blooming all over the place around here, but not being much of a plant person, i had no idea what it was.... after looking it up online, I discovered that it was Wisteria! I was immediately inspired to create a piece, and chose to include this fairy butterfly woman to reflect a profound time of awakening and unfolding... This piece was pyrographed (woodburned) onto a high grade oak plywood, and then painted with acrylic paints. It was protected with a coat of varnish and has a wire on the back for hanging.
