LITTLE DAYDREAMER...The Wisteria Frame I love to create art from functional pieces. This was an old wooden cheese crate, that I refinished using a sponging technique on top of a solid white base coat using a vibrant lavendar colored paint. I added decorative white striping around the base. I painted this Old English Sheepdog Puppy, leaning against the windowsill, Wisteria vines surround him. He holds his sheepie teddy, and stares dreamily out the window. Wisteria has a way of creating a beautiful natural frame of the outside world when it grows near a window. Previously sold on ebay and now in a private collection. ria
