Prospectus
Widely scattered across most of the world, wild violets are found throughout Europe, Asia, and North America. The Genus Viola is divided into sections based on the flower's form and include: Nomimium (which covers true violets ), Melanium (wild pansies) and Chamaemelanium. This month, we visit the many varieties of Family Violaceae.
