This piece was inspired by a Helen Keller quote. I like the idea of optimism it promotes; focusing on the positives and the things that are important will help all of the other stuff fade into the background. I also feel this quote sums up sunflowers quite well. I used pieces of magazine to create part of the vase and parts of the sunflower. The rest is done with acrylic paint.
