
Seems like sunflowers turn out good every time you paint them. You can't hardly go wrong. The focal point in this piece is, of course, the flowers, but the glass vase is interesting as well. It's not fighting to be the subject, but stands on it's own as it balances out the triangular composition. I painted in a simple gray background to make the bouquet jump out at the viewer.
