I titled this painting My Three Amigos, as the prickly pear is very prevalent in the western regions even borderin our western sister country Mexico, there many of the people will candy these little fruits of the desert into jams and jellies and candy too! There are many hues of blues and greens in the pads of these succulent plants, which I hope you can see here in the photos, I glazed many different shades of blue green and yellow.
