I lived in Fort Hays, Kansas, for two happy years. Kansas is an amazingly beautiful state. You need to get off the highway and hit the back roads to appreciate it. There are beautiful little gorges, dinosaur fossils, Fort Hays Kansas State College, and dry ~h~o~t~ weather, a total change from Michigan. It was fun living in Kansas but I missed my green, humid, watery, piney, almost-an-island home state of Michigan.
This art card (ACEO), is a giclee print of a photo taken by me of one of my brilliant yellow sunflowers. This was taken using a Nikon Cool Pix 995 digital camera. My prints are saturated with vibrant color.
An edition (no. 5) of this photo print is still available. The photo has been retired and no more prints will be made. It is signed and numbered by the artist and mounted on high-quality watercolor board with black edges. The black edges form their own self-framing. It comes with a plastic protective sleeve.
Art cards, or ACEO's (art card editions and originals) are the ~H~O~T~ collectible on Ebay right now. A brilliant way for people to collect original little works of art and store them in baseball sleeves or in small places. Just type art card or ACEO in your search and you'll see thousands of these little gems.
