The state flower, the Apple blossom, ensures that Michigan remains a supplier of apples for world consumption. In 2007, Michigan produced 7 per cent of apples consumed in the U S market. This artwork was created from a series of photos I took over the past two years. I compiled them into Photoshop in 7 layers, using a series of lighting and textural filters to complete the silkscreen-type image.
