My entry for this months FOTM is titled "OPIUM". The poppy evokes great mystic and power and its seed when smoked lures you into a secret world, an all consuming dance which holds the soul captive, enticing and soothing. My depiction of the poppy in this pastel is as if the flower has come alive dancing and swirling seductively, luring you into its embrace.
