Poppy is the symbol of sleep. In Geography funerary art the poppy came to symbolized the sleep of death, also known as the symbol NYX (night) and Morpheus the gods of deep sleep and dreams.

In matrix the movie, I wonder why they displayed the daisies in part three. They could have put some poppies around the field. But I understand why the character was named Morpheus. Couldn’t find what NEO is all about is it the One? Anyway, I have neon light on my poppy…..
