Red clover in all of its glory. This plant is actually high in protein and therefore edible and nutritious. It also provides us with beneficial effects on the liver and general protective qualities because of its powerful anti-oxidants. In fact, it contains such a wealth of beneficial phyto-chemicals that it is difficult to present them all. Aside from all that, don't we usually consider it too plain? Unworthy of our fancy gardens? Well, here is my attempt at rectifying that unfairness... look at this beauty!
