I may change the title of this to "Lobelia and Friends". It's something I started back in 2006 to practice brickwork. Then it was thrown onto the unfinished pile for a long, long time. When thinking about the Lobelia show, I decided to finish this (because I've always liked the brickwork) and to fill it with blue lobelias and some red flowers for extra colour.

The main colour for this was Daniel Smith's Burnt Orange which is one of my favourites.

It's a small piece, 6.5 inches by 8 inches. The two closeups are a bit dark. The true colour is what you see in the main picture.
