I painted this in four of the colors of lilac blossoms and wanted it also to be a value study. As you can see from the picture where I removed all color, it is hard to tell where one color begins and another starts.

A close crop of a flower is almost like looking at an abstract painting. You can ascribe different meanings and shapes to the leaves and pedals.
