Tall blue Iris are stretching for the sun on a warm and bright morning. The young cat is resting amongst the Iris and Flox which are dappled by sun rays.

My goal was to portray a quiet sarene "secret garden" feeling for the viewer. This painting truly brings the garden indoors and gives one a cat's eye view of the world. It was a fun one to paint!
