“Lady of the Falls” is based on a poem with the same name that I wrote in 2007. Protectors of water and beauty that can blind men, these nymphs are the prize of satyrs across the land. You may wonder what she is doing, well, we all heard of sun bathing, but did you ever hear of a moon shower?
When creating this painting, I decided to surround the nymph with ferns, as ferns look like big feathers which are very soft to the touch. By including the ferns, it complemented the soft glow of the moon caressing the smooth skin of the water nymph making the overall painting very relaxing to look at.
