This painting is of a larger "real" space than most of my subjects but I couldn't resist. When I saw those leaves contrasted against that beautiful blue sky I had to paint them all. This was a rather complex painting and time consuming. I am not a fast painter at the best of times but given the complexity of this composition I had to devote even more time. This is my husband's favorite painting .
