I brought some of my daffodils in the house and forced them to open. I took various photos of them. For this piece, I took one of the photos and removed the background with an exacto knife. I scanned the remaining image into my computer and then played with different digital effects. I wanted to retain the transparent quality of the backlit flowers along with their perky yellow color, while adding an interesting effect that would provide energy.
